Here's how it works:
 |
Complete a starting Fitness Assessment
Complete a starting Fitness Assessment between
10/27/10 and 10/30/10. We bring all the equipment,
so your assessment
can be done at your home, office,
or at a local park. The Fitness Assessment covers
body composition, muscular endurance, flexibility,
certain resting measures, and cardiovascular endurance. |
 |
Work to improve your Total Fitness Score (fitness level)
On your starting Fitness Assessment you will have
received a "Total Fitness Score",
which is an average of all your scores. Your goal
for the duration of the Fitness Face-Off is to improve
your Total Fitness Score by staying active,
eating smart, stretching... all things to improve
your fitness level and stay healthy. |
 |
Complete a follow-up Fitness Assessment
Follow-up Fitness Assessments will be conducted
between 1/12/12 and 1/15/12.
As with your starting
assessment, your follow-up Fitness Assessment can be
done at your home, office, or at a local park. There
will be two winners - the individual with the most
improvement, and the team with the most improvement
(average score of all team members). |

What is the
Fitness Face-Off?
The Fitness Face-Off is a
competition to see which individual and team can make the
most improvement in their fitness level between their starting
Fitness Assessment
and their follow-up
Fitness Assessment.
When
joining the Fitness Face-Off you will assigned to a team of 4-5, for additional support and motivation.
Who can participate in the Fitness
Face-Off?
The
Fitness Face-Off is open to all individuals who are healthy
enough to participate in the various fitness tests included in
the
Fitness Assessment.
Why participate in the Fitness Face-Off?
Participate in the Face-Off for a fun and motivating way
to tackle your fitness goals, stay accountable, and
improve your health. The winning participant, and winning team
will be recognized and awarded as the winners.
How does it work?
Each participant will
complete a starting
Fitness Assessment
on either October 27th, 28th, 29th, or 30th, and a follow-up
Fitness Assessment
on either January 12th, 13th, 14th, or 15th. On the printout of each
individuals
Fitness Assessment is a Total Fitness Score (average of all
test scores). The objective of the Fitness Face-Off is to
make the most improvement in your Total Fitness Score
between the two assessments. Each individual will be assigned to
a team of 4 or 5 participants. The team aspect will help
everybody stay accountable and motivated. The individual and team who improves
their Total Fitness Score the most will be declared the
winners. You are not
required to complete any workouts with Structural Fitness to
take part in the competition. The competition is strictly a
"before" and "after" Fitness Assessment.
Where are the Fitness Assessments done?
The
Fitness Assessments can be done at your home, office, or a local
park. Scheduling is on a
first come basis, where those who sign up first will get to
choose first from the available time slots.
How
do you win the Fitness Face-Off?
To
win the Fitness Face-Off, you (or your team) need to make the
most improvement in your Total Fitness Score (team scores
are an average of all team members). Since you are being
graded on your own improvement over the duration of the
competition, people of
all fitness levels can compete against each other. Unlike some
competitions that only focus on weight loss, this competition
includes multiple aspects of health and fitness such as aerobic
fitness, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility.
So no matter what your strengths and weaknesses are, and no
matter what your fitness goals may be, you have a shot at
winning the Fitness Face-Off... and will be healthier in the long
run just for participating.
How much does it cost?
You
can compete in the Face-Off for $140
($70 a Fitness
Assessment...normally $90).
Payment will be collected during the initial Fitness Assessment.
